PRO+ General
The PRO+ facade system consists of three basic components: facade brackets, module rails and modules. Various modules are available, such as PRO+ Module, PRO+ PV or PRO+ Green. In addition, numerous connection and finishing parts are available, which can be found in our PRO+ Primer.
As an approved complete system, PRO+ offers sustainable materials, short installation times and flexible design with Module, PV and Green modules. The extensive selection of accessories facilitates installation and minimises the need for adjustments.

The PRO+ facade system has a building authority approval. This is required when building components are not covered by DIN standards or the Eurocode.
The very long service life and low maintenance effort offset the higher initial investment of the PRO+ facade system. Through the use of sustainable materials and a reduced number of brackets, the PRO+ facade proves to be economical compared to conventional facades. The entire PRO+ system can be easily separated by type and recycled without problems. This enables the recycling of raw materials at the end of the service life, which can lead to a refund for the raw materials. The low-maintenance system keeps running costs low. Material according to the PRO+ colour catalogue is generally in stock. Our colour coating partners produce custom colours at short notice. Please contact us for a specific offer.
We offer delivery by freight carrier. Unloading is generally carried out on site. Optionally, we prepare the freight for unloading by crane or forklift. Please note our transport conditions according to the offer and our unloading instructions.
PRO+ Siding
PRO+ Module is a rear-ventilated curtain wall facade and thus a classic building envelope. The advantages of a ventilated facade are obvious: it provides inherent protection against heat, cold, rain as well as fire and noise. The design options are varied — PRO+ Module is available in various cover widths and colours and can be flexibly combined with PV and Green modules.
PRO+ Module can be made from steel or aluminium. Steel is more economical and robust, which is why it is popular in industrial construction. Aluminium is higher quality and easy to adapt for subsequent changes. For this reason, aluminium is primarily used in residential and commercial construction.

The PRO+ facade system is available in cover widths from 250 to 600 mm. Larger cover widths can be requested individually. The sizes of PRO+ PV and PRO+ Green modules are based on the modules of our partner companies.

PRO+ PV
With PRO+ Flex, PV elements from any manufacturer can be connected to the facade. The PRO+ Flex is mounted on the designated punch holes of the PV module. The holes on the PRO+ Flex rails can be individually adapted to the PV module. Please note that an approved overall system can only be created with a building authority approved PV module. In principle, PV modules from various manufacturers can be used in the PRO+ facade. However, there are specific requirements for the use of photovoltaic modules. In the facade area, a PV module with building authority approval is required.
With PRO+ PV you use the facade for energy generation, increase efficiency and save resources.

PRO+ Green
When purchasing PRO+ Green modules, you receive plug-in modules with integrated plant pockets and a central irrigation system to enable successful planting. The actual planting is carried out by our certified PRO+ Partners in the greening sector.

For facade greening, verification can be provided analogous to the PRO+ Module and PRO+ PV facade using our approval. The documents can be found here.
The weight of the greening elements is usually no more than that of PV modules (approx. 30 kg/m²). Our PRO+ Partner in the greening sector is happy to help you.
Technical Details

The PRO+ module rails are precisely matched to the geometry of the modules, resulting in a flush overall system. The requirements of DIN 18202 are met. Your installer is responsible for the exact plumb and aligned installation. Our PRO+ partner companies in the installation sector are happy to help.
Module rails and modules can absorb thermal expansion in both dimensions. Generally, the facade surface is separated by the use of individual modules. This results in a system-inherent separation joint that allows expansion.
If you wish to have window sills in the facade material, they will be manufactured by your PRO+ installer. The use of standard window sills is also possible. During installation, care must be taken to make the window connections driving rain-tight.
All PRO+ components are made of metal and therefore do not contribute to additional fire load. The insulation used must be evaluated separately.
If you use PRO+ Green, please consult our PRO+ greening partner regarding fire protection. The fire load of facade-bound greening systems depends significantly on the maintenance condition of the plants. When planning the modules, it is advisable to consider fire compartments.
With PRO+ PV you create a building-integrated photovoltaic system. In principle, a BIPV system installed according to the state of the art is safe. The use of certified components is important. The installation of PV modules classified as “flame retardant” is mandatory for certain building classes. Detailed information can be found on the website of the Initiative for Building-Integrated PV Systems Baden-Württemberg.
In general, fixing points and thus penetrations of the building envelope are structurally necessary. The PRO+ module rail significantly reduces the number of brackets, which equally leads to a reduction of thermal bridges. This provides greater flexibility in planning, as fewer thermal bridges need to be considered with the PRO+ facade system.
With a closed facade we protect your building from rainwater. The PRO+ facade system has no open horizontal joints. With a butt plate in the vertical separation joint, a completely watertight facade can be produced. Details can be found in our PRO+ Primer.
Standard commercial facade insulation for exterior use is suitable for the PRO+ facade system. Insulation is available in various materials. Fastening is done with brackets that comply with DIN standards. Let your PRO+ Partner advise you.
For subsequent maintenance work on the building, we recommend providing sufficient scaffolding anchor points. These can be easily integrated into the PRO+ facade system. Please consider this during the planning phase.
For proper installation of the substructure, the substrate must be load-bearing and the fixing anchors must be approved for the respective substrate and able to bear the corresponding loads. Only building authority approved fasteners may be used. The substructure must be installed plumb and aligned. The ventilation is in the exterior area, so anchors approved for outdoor use must be used.

The wind load must be calculated according to the individual conditions at the building location, taking the building structure into account. Your structural engineer or our PRO+ Partners in the installation sector can assist with the calculation.

Our products are marked with the conformity mark according to the Conformity Mark Regulation. A CE mark is therefore not required.

With two different training courses, you as a PRO+ Partner are equipped for installation. We accompany your fitters and site managers in an installation training course. Your planners are brought up to date on the technical properties in a planning training course with PRO+.
Our PRO+ Partners are already experts in their field of activity. PRO+ Partners in the installation sector receive special application training covering both the installation and planning of PRO+. When selecting our partners, we also ensure that several PRO+ facades are installed annually to guarantee routine handling of our click system. Sustainability & Environmental Protection
The PRO+ facade is characterised by the absence of composite materials. This makes the system easily separable and recyclable by type, which additionally enables a refund for raw materials after the end of the facade’s service life.
The integration of facade greening offers the possibility of absorbing particulate matter and thus contributing to improving air quality. Furthermore, the greening absorbs sunlight, which in turn reduces the formation of heat islands. The greening also creates habitat for insects and birds.
With PRO+ PV, the facade can be used to generate renewable energy. This prevents the sealing of green spaces and preserves valuable land for food production in agriculture. PV electricity generation also causes no direct greenhouse gas emissions, thereby reducing the need for conventional energy sources.
Various factors are decisive for the energy efficiency of buildings. With PRO+, one of the most important influencing factors, the building envelope, can be optimised. The thermal insulation of building components is described by thermal transmittance coefficients, also known as U-values. A low U-value is decisive for an efficient building envelope, which is favoured by a small number of building penetrations. With PRO+, fixing points are reduced by up to 80% compared to conventional facade systems, depending on design and building geometry, leading to a significant increase in energy efficiency. Maintenance
The PRO+ facade system is low-maintenance. We recommend cleaning as needed with demineralised water, also known as osmosis cleaning.

The refinement of surfaces through coil coating or anodising largely eliminates the need for algae-dissolving agents. With demineralised water (osmosis cleaning), the facade elements can be cleaned without algicides or fungicides.
The surface refinement of at least 25 µm provides corrosion protection that corresponds to at least corrosion protection class 3.
